Go to your nearest British grocer and pick up some English or Irish Bangers (breakfast sausages) and also buy some Black Pudding (minced pork sausage), you will love it. Then watch the original Italian Job all over again. Don't worry about your cholesterol.

In the DVD extras they explained why it was removed.

It was right smack dab in the middle of the chase scene, and while clever, they thought it would kill the momentum of the end of the movie.

I prefer the movie without this scene, actually. It really screws with the pacing of the chase scene.
